An idyllic prospect.....is that in that big unbuilt area just on the other side of 42? Looks like there are no houses anywhere near it.....
Yep, it's the STILL empty GP site. The City bought the site for $1.00 when the mill shut down around 1990. 14 acres are still up for sale.

The flash on my camera has died. That has made taking certain photos significantly more difficult.
I'm looking forward to seeing more of the photos you take with your shiny new camera. I've been posting photos lately on my gardening blog.

Mac Same to you. I spent the day at the hospital waiting for a real live baby to be born. My son's first. That's the way to celebrate what life is all about. Not with gory fables, involving crucifixion, tombs & Zombies rising from the dead.

I have my seedlings out on the fire escape waiting to to be planted in the community garden if it ever stops raining long enough...

Hmmm, I'm having some comment issues. It shows I have 9 comments but I can see only 6. Also on some other blogs comment sections I'm having the same trouble. I'm curious to see if this one gets through.....

I noticed three comments on this post were not visible yesterday, even though the comment count still said 9. The counter now says 14 and I can see 14.
The Quiet Magpie reported a similar problem. I had the opposite problem on my site for a while; the counter on some posts showed 0 comments, but when I clicked on it, I could see all the comments that were there.
Probably a Blogger technical glitch.
I can easily see why you're so happy with it.
